Abstract: Large-scale thermal power project construc-tion needs to go through several procedures, such as the feasibility study, preliminary design, construction design, con-struction commissioning and operation optimization.This pa-per mainly focuses on the following aspects:electronic de-sign optimization steps, design optimization measures, hot spot and difficulties of optimization.Compare the reliability, flexibility, advancement, practicality, economic condition un-der the constraints of regulations.Thus, the cost of the proj-ect will be deduced and the company will get the maxi-mum profit by design optimization.
