Publication Ethics and Moral Rule Statement
  • Power Generation Technology adheres to internationally recognized publishing ethics standards. Following the relevant guidelines issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and considering the journal's specific circumstances, we have established this publishing ethics statement. Editors, authors, and reviewers are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities in addition to adhering to other relevant regulations and requirements of Power Generation Technology.

    Responsibilities of Editors

    1. Confidentiality: Editors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are handled confidentially. Manuscripts should not be disclosed to anyone other than the reviewers without the author's permission.

    2. Decision-Making: Based on the reviewers' comments and the editorial board's evaluation, editors have the authority to accept, reject, or request modifications to a manuscript.

    3. Fair Investigation: Editors should conduct a fair and thorough investigation into appeals against manuscript review outcomes.

    4. Conflict of Interest: Editors should avoid any conflict of interest with the manuscripts they handle. If an editor has a relationship with the authors (e.g., as colleagues, mentors, collaborators, or competitors), the manuscript should be reassigned to another editor.

    5. Unbiased Review: Editors must ensure that every accepted manuscript undergoes a content review without bias towards the author's gender, race, religion, or nationality.

    6. Originality Check: Editors must ensure that every manuscript is initially screened for originality (i.e., plagiarism detection). Manuscripts passing CNKI check are then sent for peer review. For manuscripts involving or accused of academic misconduct, editors should promptly investigate and address the issue.

    Responsibilities of Authors

    1. Accurate Reporting: Authors should provide an accurate description of their original research and a balanced discussion of its significance. The manuscript must comply with the journal's "Guide for Authors".

    2. Academic Integrity: Authors should avoid any academic misconduct behaviors such as plagiarism. Manuscripts should not be submitted to more than one journal, nor should similar research be published in more than one journal.

    3. Data Authenticity: Authors must ensure the authenticity of their data, clearly identifying all data sources used in their research, and properly citing influential literatures.

    4. Authorship Criteria: All listed authors must meet the journal's authorship criteria by substantially contributing to the research. Significant contributors should be listed as co-authors, whereas those providing facilities or funding should not.

    5. Authorship Changes: Once a manuscript enters the review process, author names, affiliations, and the order of authorship should not be changed. If changes are necessary, a detailed explanation signed by all authors must be submitted to the responsible editor.

    6. Conflict of Interest Declaration: Authors must disclose their specific contributions and any potential conflicts of interest in the "Copyright Transfer Agreement & Declaration of Authors." Additionally, if the manuscript mentions specific products, authors must disclose any conflicts of interest with competing products.

    Responsibilities of Reviewers

    1. Data Source Confirmation: Reviewers must ensure that authors have confirmed all data sources used in the research. Any signs of plagiarism or multiple submissions should be immediately reported to editors.

    2. Objective Review: Reviewers should provide objective and evidence-based evaluations of the manuscript.

    3. Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should not have any conflicts of interest with the research, authors, or research sponsors. If such conflicts exist, the manuscript should be reassigned to another reviewer.

    4. Citation Identification: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

    5. Timely Review: Reviewers should notify the editor if they are unable to complete the review within the allotted time so that the manuscript can be reassigned.

    6. Confidentiality: Reviewers must keep the manuscript and the review process confidential. They should not share the manuscript's data, information, or arguments with others, reveal their identity, or retain the manuscript after the review.

    Intellectual Property Protection

The editorial department respects and upholds intellectual property rights, requiring all editors, authors, and reviewers to do the same. Any potential infringement should be avoided, and third-party organizations must also respect the journal's intellectual property rights.

    Advertising Policy

Advertisers must ensure the accuracy of their content. The journal will verify relevant documentation according to advertising laws and regulations. Advertisements that do not match the content or lack complete documentation will not be published.

The journal mainly publishes advertisements on the back cover of the print edition, separated from the academic content. All advertising decisions are made collectively by the editorial department, ensuring that advertisements do not influence the editorial decisions or acceptance of submissions.
