Open Access Statement
Power Generation Technology flipped to a fully open-access journal in 2023. All articles published from the first issue in 2023 are immediately and permanently available to readers on the journal's website for free access. Readers can use, copy, and distribute these articles under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
Articles published from 2017 to 2022 are also retrospectively made open access, available under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
Articles published before 2017 are not open access, and their copyrights are owned by the editorial department of the journal.
Licensing Policy
For open-access articles published in the journal, permissible third-party reuse is defined by the following license: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows users to copy and distribute the articles in any medium or format as long as the license terms below are followed:
Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes to the articles were made. Users may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal endorses the use. Users may not use the articles for commercial purposes. If users re-mix, transform, or build upon the articles, they may not distribute the modified articles. The full details of the license are available at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/.
Copyright Policy
By submitting a manuscript to this journal, the author agrees to transfer the copyright of the article (in all language versions), including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, online dissemination, translation, and compilation, to the Editorial Department of Power Generation Technology. The copyright will belong to the editorial department. Authors are required to sign the "Copyright Transfer Agreement & Declaration of Authors" upon submission, which can be downloaded from the homepage of the website. After publication, authors have the right to use their published articles under the following circumstances:
1) Authors can use their articles under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
2) Authors can quote or translate part of their articles in subsequent works or compile them into non-journal collections.
If the article is not published, the copyright remains with the authors.
Article Archiving Policy
All articles published since 2017 are digitally archived and accessible on the journal's website. To ensure data security, all information is also backed up in the editorial department. In case of suspension of publication, readers can access historical articles from platforms like China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wanfang Data. Full texts of articles published before 2017 can be obtained from CNKI.
Authors' Self-Archiving
The journal allows authors to store all versions of their articles in an institutional or other knowledge repository of the authors' choice, subject to the specification of journal publication information in the article metadata of the stored institutional or other knowledge repository, and as a recommended citation.
Data Sharing
The journal encourages authors to share research data to facilitate reproducibility and validation of scientific research. Authors can share raw data, observation records, experimental results, and relevant research software, code, models, algorithms, and other materials. These should be uploaded to accessible storage platforms (e.g., Science Data Bank) with corresponding links provided at the end of their articles.
Post-publication Discussions
The journal welcomes readers to discuss the academic content of published article, and also welcomes readers to supervise and report any academic misconduct. Readers can send their comments and feedback to the journal's email. The editorial department will handle these promptly and provide appropriate feedback. This collaborative effort aims to maintain a high standard of academic integrity.
