Detection Method for Islanded Microgrid Based on the Local Detection Method

Abstract:

In order to stabilize the microgrid operating between the networks and islands, the key issue that detecting the operating state effectively must be solved. Therefore, the island detection technology becomes important research field. Based on the detailed analysis of the classic detection algorithm, this paper summarized the improved detection algorithm based on electrical quantities, including frequency, phase, harmonics and impedance. The advantages and disadvantages of the different detection method in non-detection zone, accuracy and practicability, etc was pointed out. A variety of detection used in combination, and islanding detection algorithm based on other principles was reviewed, and a further prospects were done for the islanding detection algorithm research, in order to promote micro-grid technology more intelligent.
