Abstract: Frequency converter is widely used in indus-trial production because of its unique characteristics of pow-er regulation,speed regulation and remarkable energy sav-ing effect.This paper takes the selection of frequency con-verter in a polycrystalline silicon plant as an example.Based on analyzing the test data and field operation results and summing up experience,it comprehensively analyzed the selection principle and method which can be used as reference for the selection of frequency converter.
