Wind Turbines Fault Diagnosis Method Researched by Vibration Analysis

Abstract: In view of the wind power equipment running in the condition of various speed and unstable loads, and cannot be monitored and diagnosed effectively with merely one signal processing method,the methods of wind turbines fault diagnosis based on vibration analysis and hybridize several commonly used signal processing methods are proposed. According to the structural parameters and operating features of wind turbines,faults mechanism and types of wind turbines are analyzed. Then extract the fault characteristic frequency hidden in the vibration signal using the time-domain,frequency-domain and envelope spectrum methods. Finally,the result of dissembling the wind turbine validates effectiveness of the proposed method.
