    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 426-433(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.19108
Abstract:Wind power generation process has strong randomness, which leads to low accuracy of wind power prediction. In view of the above phenomenon, a wind power generation power prediction method based on deep learning algorithm was proposed. Taking the historical wind power data as input, a wind power prediction model was established to realize the wind power prediction on a time scale in the future. The results of the example show that compared with the traditional time-series prediction method, the average absolute error of the wind power prediction results based on long short-term memory neural network is smaller in each index, which verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the above method in wind power generation prediction, and improves the accuracy of wind power generation prediction.

    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 440-447(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.19081
Abstract:As an important type of load-side resources, the distributed generation (DG) is widely used in smart buildings to provide new possibilities for rapid power supply recovery and load transfer after extreme disasters. This paper proposed a comprehensive evaluation framework for the smart building load restoration, which is used to quantitatively analyze and calculate the transfer capacity of the DG supply at the end of the smart buildings to the critical load in the distribution system after extreme disaster. On the basis of modeling different types of physical equipment in smart buildings, the multi-energy complementary and energy coupling characteristics were considered. Firstly, three quantitative evaluation indexes including electric power transfer amount, heat transfer amount and cooling transfer amount were proposed. The contribution of smart building power to system load recovery after extreme disasters was accurately quantified. On this basis, the specific calculation method for the above evaluation indicators was further proposed via using the random mixed integer programming method. Finally, taking the load of an industrial park as an example, the validity of the evaluation framework proposed was verified. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can fully explore the energy supply potential of smart buildings with ensuring the normal operation of smart buildings, and effectively improve the reliability of power distribution systems under extreme disasters.

    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 448-454(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.19051
Abstract:Currently, there are few research on the influence of human reliability upon the reliability of integrated substation automation system (ISAS). This paper proposed a risk assessment method of ISAS considering human reliability. First, according to the operators work condition, estimate the human error probability based on analytic hierarchy process-smart substation automation system to correct the failure probability of physical devices. Then, adopt the function decomposition based method to assess the failure risk of functions. Finally, obtain the failure risk of ISAS by mixing the function risks to characterize the reliability of ISAS and offer guidance to dispatching department. The big impact of human reliability on the ISAS risk is demonstrated in case study, which means considering human reliability is more objective than the traditional method.

Zhibo WANG, Qianru WANG, Yong DAI, Tian XIA, Qian ZHANG, Weidong LI
    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 455-461(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.18247
Abstract:Nowadays, China is steadily promoting the reform of the electricity market. Direct power purchase by large consumers, which has the characteristics of large participation of renewable energy and huge trading power, has a very important impact on the stability of the power system. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an effective risk assessment method on the bilateral user transactions of supply and demand side, and to reasonably control the risk factors that have greater risk. Direct power purchase by large consumers involve both sides of supply and demand and many possible risk factors. The risk assessment index system was constructed from five aspects and the corresponding 17 second-level evaluation indexes were established as analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method to evaluate the risk. In addition, after rating the risk factors, the weights were determined and the consistency was verified. The results show that AHP can balance the subjective and objective factors and determine the relative weight of each evaluation index. It can also calculate the subordination degree of risk index to each level of risk level and achieve the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis so that the result of risk assessment is more scientific and accurate.

  • Research on Semi-vector Predictive Control Strategy of Active Power Filter

    Jing GONG, Qiaojie ZHANG
    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 462-468(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.18258
Abstract:Aiming at the problems of limited selection range of voltage vector and low accuracy of current tracking in the classical model predictive current control algorithm, an improved model predictive voltage control algorithm was proposed. The better voltage vector was obtained by rolling optimization, and using Ts/2 for the better voltage vector and Ts/2 for zero vector to achieve the half amplitude vector. The optimal voltage vector was chosen according to the evaluation function of the two vectors. Adding only one voltage vector per period could effectively reduce the error between predicted voltage vector and actual voltage vector, realized the accurate tracking of harmonic current, and improved the compensation performance of active power filter. Simulation results showed the proposed improved model predictive voltage control algorithm is more accurate than the classical model predictive current control algorithm in tracking the reference current. After compensation, the harmonic content in the grid-connected current decreases from 4.86% to 3.32%, and the grid-connected unit power factor can be achieved under both steady-state and dynamic conditions.

  • Study on Low Reheat Steam Temperature After Low NOx Retrofit Based on Combustion Adjustment

Shenglin HU, Yuan LI, Rui MAO, Shengping ZHAN, Liming REN, Zhicheng GUO, Kefa CEN
    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 475-480(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.19084
Abstract:To solve the problem of low reheat steam temperature after low NOx retrofit in a 330 MW coal-fired boiler, the countermeasure study was conducted based on combustion adjustment strategies. The effects of burner angle, air distribution mode, burner layer distribution, coal type of upper layer, coal fineness of upper layer, ash blowing of horizontal flue, and automatic control quality on reheat steam temperature were analyzed. The results indicate that the low reheat steam temperature mainly occurs at medium-low load (lower than 250 MW). Increasing burner angle, using inverted tower air distribution, increasing utilization rate of upper burner, improving coal calorific of upper layer, decreasing coal fineness of upper layer, strengthening ash blowing of horizontal flue and optimizing automatic control quality are conducive to improving the reheat steam temperature. The proposed combustion adjustment strategies provide important reference for the similar problem in boiler retrofit.

    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 488-492(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.18233
Abstract:The generator leading phase operation is an operation mode in which the generator adjusts the excitation to make the generator under-excited and maintains reactive power from the system while maintaining the normal active output. The leading phase depth is generally affected by the static stability limit of the generator, the stator end member heating and other factors. Based on the analysis of generator leading phase operation characteristics, power angle change and leading phase operation limit factors, a 600MW generator in a thermal power plant was taken as an example to analyse and record the electrical angle of the generator, stator voltage, factory voltage, the real-time data and changes of the temperature rise of the generator end in the leading phase test. The leading phase running depth of the generator and its limiting factors was verified, and the regulation performance and stability of the automatic excitation regulator in the leading phase operation was tested. It provided data support for the follow-up leading phase operation of the generator set. The proposed improvement strategy can effectively improve the leading phase operation capacity of the generator set.

Abstract:Based on the enthalpy difference theory and the characteristics of the mechanical draft cooling tower, a mathematical method of the cooling tower performance was derived to analyze the influence of operating parameters on tower outlet water temperature. The results show that the influence of atmospheric pressure and dry-bulb temperature on the tower outlet water temperature is negligible. The wet-bulb temperature is the main environmental factor affecting the cooling tower performance. Cooling water flowrate, condenser heat load, failure cooling area and ventilation resistance all have a positive correlation with tower outlet water temperature. While the air flowrate of the fan increases, the tower outlet water temperature will decrease. The above conclusions will help to accurately predict the changing trend of tower outlet water temperature under variable operating conditions, and provide guidance for the adjustment of cooling tower operation under variable conditions.

    Vol. 40, Issue 5, Pages: 499-502(2019) DOI: 10.12096/j.2096-4528.pgt.18095
Abstract:In December 2017, China formally issued the National Carbon Emissions Trading Market Construction Plan (Power Generation Industry), and the power generation enterprises took the lead in developing the national carbon emission trading. Carbon trading price will significantly affect the total fuel cost of power generation enterprises. Based on the analysis of the current situation of the main domestic carbon emission trading market, the calculation of carbon emission of coal-fired power generation enterprises and the analysis of the change of the existing coal trading price, this paper discussed the typical coal closing price model, and established the main coal closing price model of coal-fired power generation enterprises under the constraints of carbon emission trading. Carbon trading cost accounts for about 20% of fuel cost. The new model accounts the demand of carbon trading comprehensively, and provides a new accounting method for coal-fired power generation enterprises to improve their fuel procurement strategy and resist the risk of carbon trading.
