Abstract:

The ubiquitous power internet of things(UPIoT) is a complex multi-network system composed of a power system and a combination of intelligent terminal sensors, communication networks, artificial intelligence, and cloud platform technologies. It is with the characteristics of holographic perception, ubiquitous connectivity, open sharing, and fusion innovation. This paper firstly expounded the basic concepts and characteristics of UPIoT, and analyzed its architecture in detail, including the technical architecture, standard architecture, and application architecture. Next, it discussed the key technologies of the ubiquitous power internet of things including intelligent chips, 5G and LPWA, internet of things platform. Afterwards, key difficulties such as business barriers, cyber security, data analytics, and business modes were explored. The actual needs and application prospects of ubiquitous power internet of things were studied.
