Techno-Economic Analysis of Photovoltaic-Concentrating Solar Power Hybrid System for Thermal Energy Storage of Electricity Curtailment
- “Researchers proposed a photovoltaic concentrated solar energy composite system equipped with electric heating devices, established a quasi steady state model, and optimized parameters, resulting in an 8.2% increase in annual power generation, a 94.1% recovery rate of abandoned electricity, and a levelized electricity cost of 0.138 US dollars per kilowatt hour. This provides a more economical solution for optimizing the problem of abandoned wind and solar power.”
