    • Mechanical Stability Analysis of High-Temperature Superconducting D-Shaped Magnets and Toroidal Field Coils for Fusion

    • “The high-temperature superconducting D-type coil is the core component of nuclear fusion devices. "The mechanical stability of D-type magnets and TF coils based on CORC-CICC was studied at 20 K temperature," and the weakest part of their mechanical stability was found. It was proposed to add a mixture of AlN and epoxy resin to improve stability, providing important reference for the design of large superconducting magnets in the 20 K temperature range.”
