    • Numerical Simulation of Combustion of Waste Textile Pyrolysis Products in a 660 MW Coal-Fired Boiler

    • “The coupling of waste textile pyrolysis products with coal-fired power generation can not only increase the scale of waste textile treatment and reduce power generation costs, but also have positive significance for carbon reduction in coal-fired power plants. The research team constructed a coal-fired boiler grid model and coupled the combustion reaction mechanism. Numerical simulations were carried out with waste textile pyrolysis mass flow rate, exhaust air rate, and pyrolysis gas inlet position as variables. It was found that the three parameters had complex and significant effects on the carbon content and NOx concentration of fly ash. It is recommended to maintain a combustion air rate of about 31% when the thermal blending ratio of pyrolysis semi coke and pyrolysis gas is less than 10% and the outside of the furnace is blended.”
