    • Thermal Stress Analysis of Transversally Corrugated Tube in Solar Receiver Under Semi-Circumference Heating

    • “Uneven heat flow on the wall of a solar heat absorber can easily cause deformation and damage. Researchers used Ansys to establish a three-dimensional model and Fluent to numerically simulate the thermal stress of a transverse tube under half cycle heating. The study revealed the influence of heat flux density, groove depth, groove width, inlet temperature, and flow velocity on thermal stress, which is of great significance for extending the service life of column heat absorbers.”
