A Control Strategy for Grid-Forming Inverters in Grids With a Wide Range of Short-Circuit Ratios
- “A current compensation control strategy suitable for wide range short-circuit ratio power grids is proposed to address the problem of low-frequency oscillation caused by voltage source characteristic conflicts in grid type inverters under strong grid conditions. The aim is to improve the grid stability and robustness of inverters under different grid strengths. The research progress in the field of new energy grid connection is introduced. The team has established a current feedforward compensation control system, which achieves adaptive damping through admittance reshaping, providing a solution for the wide range stable operation of grid type inverters.”
