Abstract:

Several problems at the power characteristics of wind turbine site test such as low efficiency, harsh conditions and unfaithful results are becoming focus in the industry. A method with energy transmitted model at PMSG-based wind turbines (WT) was proposed, which researches on process of energy capture, transmitting, conversion with relationship of wind energy capture and pitch angle, blade tip speed ratio by quantitative analysis to construct energy transmitted model of typical wind turbine. The model was verified by similar WT in same wind farm after being modulated by comparing site measured data with model output data. The energy transmitted model has become the theoretical foundation to support WT's power performance characteristic.
